Recently I was working with Neurolief Brain Innovation in creating motion graphics to explain the workings of Relivion, a brain stimulation device used to ameliorate migraines.
One of our followup projects was to explore how music affects the brain. During our research we came across this article from Harvard Magazine. Author Allison Eck, dives deep into the subject, revealing that the brain is affected by music in very complex ways, and that "music lights up nearly all of the brain," even affecting some involuntary processes like breathing and heart rate. The article can be found here: https://magazine.hms.harvard.edu/articles/how-music-resonates-brain
Relivion animations are posted here: https://www.grahamstudios.net/motion?pgid=lx0t7ls3-5313f3cd-ddd4-482c-8ac1-c99a6d57f06e.
